Ball in the Castle is a special concert series brought to life in the ceremonial halls of Hungary’s most beautiful castles, evoking the elegance and the sometimes solemn, sometimes playful atmosphere of historic balls. Cellist and composer Felicián Kalmus presents a waltz-centered repertoire that stems from classical traditions but speaks with a very contemporary musical mindset.

During the evening, you will hear not only world-famous waltzes—reimagined with Felicián’s signature unique twists—but also his original compositions and modern, unexpected pieces that seamlessly blend into the genre.
