Geographical distance and great workload allow less and less time for family and friends. In the Prónay Castle you can bring your family together, celebrate with your friends and acquaintances not seen for a long time.

With a minimum reservation limit of 5 rooms we are happy to receive your event and do our best to contribute to an unforgettable experience.

In case of private gatherings our venue is available for the reception of 5 to 150 guests.

Wine tasting

Discover the award-winning wines from the Badacsony vineyard of the Prónay Castle family! We are waiting for you with two special Csendes Dűlő wine tastings in the 200-year-old wine cellar under the castle.
The “Örsi-hegy 3asic” wine tasting is the perfect introduction to the basic motifs of the Badacsony wine region. Here you can taste the region’s most popular wines, such as Olaszrizling, Szürkebarát and Kéknyelű, all complemented by fruits and stone fruits.
The “Csendes Dűlő 5signatures” tasting is ideal for those who want to get acquainted with the winery’s flagship products. In addition to Olaszrizling, Kéknyelű and Hárslevelű wines, we also offer fruits and stone fruits, but the selection can be expanded with rosé or red wine on request.
In addition to the wines, you can also request a artisanal cheese tasting, which is the perfect complement to the wine experience.

Truffle hunting

Who would guess that the woods near Alsópetény harbour a spice that is considered a valuable gastronomic speciality, namely truffles. A qualified truffle hunter and his dog will introduce our guests to the secrets of the thrilling truffle hunting. Of course, the tasting will be a part of the programme too, as our chef will prepare delicious dishes from the harvest.

Liget Picnic

In the lush two-hectare castle garden, you can enjoy the fresh air, delicious snacks and the offerings of the outdoor terrace: You can lie down on a blanket or play our garden party games (giant jenga, petang, croquet).

Storytelling Land cave tours

Only 6 minutes by car from Prónay Castle is the Storytelling Land estate, including the Hill, which awaits visitors with extraordinary energy and experiences: - Guided Underground Geo-walks in the secret passages of the mine - straight into the heart of the Hill: pitch darkness, wide spaces, fresh air, calcites and bats that fluoresce in UV light - Treasure hunt to the top of the Hill, with a tour guide: we will see the still-operating mine opening, a part reminiscent of a lunar landscape, and then we will walk to the Panorama Point, from where you can see the entire area. around our settlement, but even to the castle park!

Wildlife up close with a bit of spirit warming

There is a unique wildlife park on the outskirts of Nógrád, unlike any other near or far. Guests are taken into the forest by tractor, where they can climb up to a wildlife watchtower and get up close to hundreds of animals living in the park.
(The 1.5-hour programme starts two hours before dusk.)
