As nature awakens, freshness and vibrant colors move into our kitchen as well. On the occasion of Visit Hungary’s "Spring on Your Plate" (Tavasz a tányéron) Gastronomy Days, our chef has crafted a special seasonal menu that evokes the first rays of sunshine and the finest harvest of the land.

Our Spring Selection
1. Cream of Asparagus Soup This soup is one of the most elegant ways to start the spring season. A silky-textured dish softened with cream, dominated by the slightly nutty flavor of green asparagus.
- Featured Ingredient: Asparagus. Its peak season is between April and June, which is when it is at its most tender and flavorful.
2. Nógrád Grilled Cheese, Fresh Salad, Wild Garlic Pesto, Eggplant, and Organic Pumpkin Seeds A vegetarian dish rich in textures. The creaminess of the grilled cheese is complemented by the crunch of fresh salad and the bold flavor of pumpkin seeds, while the eggplant adds a smoky depth to the meal.
- Featured Ingredient: Wild Garlic. The "first herald" of the forests; its fresh, garlicky aroma in the form of a pesto symbolizes the awakening of spring in this dish.
3. Lamb Rollbraten, Rosemary Jus, Parsley New Potatoes, and String Beans A classic main course for the Easter and spring season. The "rollbraten" is a succulent, rolled roast, made complete by the rosemary-infused gravy (jus).
- Featured Ingredient: Lamb. Tender lamb is traditionally the crown jewel of the springtime table.
4. Homemade Panna Cotta, Strawberries, and Chocolate Crumble A soft, creamy dessert. The silky cream provides a perfect contrast to the tart fruit and the crunchy chocolate pieces.
- Featured Ingredient: Strawberries. While available almost year-round today, it is the spring season of real, field-grown strawberries that makes this dessert truly special and fragrant.
