A venue that speaks for itself

Located just 45 minutes from Budapest among the rolling hills of Nógrád, the Prónay Castle in Alsópetény stands out the moment you arrive; you instantly feel that this place is different. It is special not because of its size, but because of its atmosphere. During the full-scale restoration, the 19th-century spirit was carefully preserved: antique furniture, works by Hungarian painters on the walls, and period salons, while offering every modern comfort of the 21st century.

The entire wedding day took place at a single location – the ceremony, reception, and accommodation – which was absolutely perfect for Amina and Levente. There was no need to rush anywhere, and they were able to be fully present in every single moment. The castle garden provided a fitting backdrop for the ceremony. They said their vows on the small island of the ornamental pond – in the shade of centuries-old plane trees, with the sparkling water in the background. It is a venue that doesn’t need to be decorated or embellished: you simply have to show up, and nature does the rest.
