Guided castle walk - with prior registration

Walking through the buildings and the park of the castle, we visit the historic buildings and tell stories about the life of the noble families who lived in the castle.

Castle

The Prónay Castle is located close to Budapest and the airport, on the main street of Alsópetény, opposite the church hill. Among the noble mansions in Nógrád, the fate of the castle in Alsópetény was not destruction, but renewal. The completely renovated historical building complex and the modern hotel wing await those who want to rest and relax all year round and serve as a venue for wonderful weddings, intimate family and friend events, as well as trainings, conferences, professional and cultural events with a peaceful atmosphere reminiscent of the past. 
 

Accommodation

The 6 suites and 25 modern hotel rooms of Prónay Castle represent classic elegance and finesse. During the complete renovation, antique furniture and sumptuous textiles were procured and placed in the suites, while the walls got decorated with the works of Hungarian painters of the 19-20th century. Our modern hotel rooms are characterized by minimal style, calming colours and high-quality mattresses which guarantee complete relaxation.

Gastronomy

One of the basic element of well-being is food. With the excellent quality of the selected ingredients and with our innovative tecnology we prepare and serve you the dishes to give a unique experience.

Sustainability

Protecting nature is extremely important for us, which is why we work with a paperless check-in system; we collect waste selectively; we are members of the Hungarian Ornithological Association; rainwater is maximally recycled; we buy and consume products of local producers as much as possible; and the tree population of our park has special value for us.

Safely in the castle

Since the covid virus, we focus not only on ensuring comfort, but in addition we have also prioritized the safety of our guests. We strive for maximum cleanliness in our hotel area with the help of special disinfectants and an ozone generator. If someone wants complete isolation, so our suites and village guesthouses are the best solutions, since they offer opportunity for separation.

We dreamed of a place where our guests could experience perfect relaxation. In addition to our programs supporting regeneration, a health-conscious lifestyle and preventive health measures, we await everyone who wants to rediscover their physical and mental balance with a variety of massage therapies, sound therapy, body treatment devices with the latest technology and thermal jade massage beds.
