History of Prónay-castle dates back to several hundred years, it functioned as an estate center until the Second World War, and its salons hosted social events. True to our tradition, the Prónay Picnic will be held this year again. On Pentecost Monday, we will once again create a real picnic atmosphere in the park of our castle. There will be no shortage of picnic baskets - in which you can buy Parkfood food in the castle courtyard - and blankets, and we are also preparing live music and children's programs!

The VI. Alsópetény Truffle and Lagotto Festival will be held this year on October 20. The professional sponsor of the Festival is the First Hungarian Truffle Association.
Visitors can compete in the truffle hunting dog competition, taste our chef's truffle specialties, participate in mushroom-related lectures and spend a whole day in the castle garden, resplendent in beautiful autumn colors.
Walking through the buildings and the park of the castle, we visit the historic buildings and tell stories about the life of the noble families who lived in the castle.
